It’s a Starbucks tradition like no other: the return of the coffee chain’s signature holiday drinks – and festive mugs.
Starbucks rolled out its holiday drink menu Thursday. The menu brings back classic drinks, including Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and Chestnut Praline Latte.
The menu also features the return of seasonal coffees such as Christmas blends and holiday blends.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Starbucks Holiday Cups, which were introduced in 1997. The company will reveal four new cups to kick off the holiday season.
“We’ve always talked about mugs as little gifts, and we hope they feel like a festive gift for our customers and in-store partners,” Starbucks Creative Director Gary Jacobson said in a statement.

What’s on Starbucks’ Holiday Menu?
This year’s menu will feature the return of several notable drinks, including Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha and Irish Cream Cold Brew. Starbucks will also be returning the Mondmilk Iced Sugar Latte after it was introduced last year.
This year debuted the Chocolate Pistachio Swirl, which Starbucks describes as “a creamy chocolate filling with aromas of cinnamon and coffee blended with butter.”

What about the day of the Red Cup 2022?
Starbucks has yet to confirm when it will host this year’s Red Cup Day, when the coffee chain will offer a reusable, limited-edition red cup in a holiday arrangement or fall drink.
Last year’s Red Cup Day took place on November 18, two weeks after Starbucks introduced its holiday drink menu.
