Ukrainian forces reportedly tried to assassinate Putin on Sunday

ohUkraine’s secret service allegedly attempted to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin last Sunday using a kamikaze drone.

German newspaper Bild reported on Wednesday that the assassination attempt, despite its failure, was being covered up by the Kremlin.

Putin’s visit is targeted at a newly built industrial park near Moscow.

Coincidentally, according to Russian media, the UJ-22 drone crashed near Voroshkogo, 20 kilometers from the Rudnevo Industrial Park.

According to the Kremlin, Putin had planned to visit the site, with passers-by posting pictures on social media of the preparations, which included painting the ground green and applying a layer of cement to the front of the main building.

However, the date of the visit of the head of state is not clear, and so far, Putin has not visited the place.

In addition, Ukrainian activist Yuriy Romanenko revealed on the social network Twitter that “intelligence officials received information about Putin’s trip to the Rudnevo industrial park” and thus planned the attack.

“There was great confusion when we learned in the morning that a drone had been shot down in the Kremlin. [Dmitry] “Peskov realized Putin’s new agenda – that he would work for the Kremlin,” he added.
