MMoving house always comes with risks, but when this couple left the state of Georgia for Arkansas, USA, they didn’t count on the unusual reception they would receive.
Last month, Kristen and Tim Smith drove about 700 km to start a new life, and in the renovation they found a beautiful story to tell their new neighbors. Tim, 48, was drilling a hole in the wall to make an electrical connection when he noticed something strange on the wall. “We were shocked and disgusted,” said the 51-year-old, revealing the walls were strewn with empty tobacco packets and boxes – empty – of Viagra.
“We didn’t know we were going to find something on the walls,” the woman continued, as quoted by international publications. “We didn’t count the number of boxes, but we managed to fill a garbage bag”, he concluded.
Kristen explained that she was not happy with the idea of her new home being a landfill, however, as time went on, the new residents admitted that they could only laugh at the situation now.
“We realized the packs weren’t in the 50s [quando a casa foi construída]”, elaborated Kristen, explaining that the wall in question was built later. By the cashiers, Kristen and Tim judged that the construction was done ten or 15 years ago.
