Yes, you guessed it: Saturday Night Live A sketch of Chris Rock’s slap at the Oscars by Will Smith.
In the graphic — which you can watch above — host Jerrod Carmichael plays a seat filler at this year’s Oscars, who happens to have a seat next to Will Smith, played by Chris Reed. At first, the seat filler was excited to be seated next to a big star like Smith…but then Rock joked about Jada, and Smith walked up to the podium to slap him. Smith returned to his seat, indifferently asked the seat filler, “So where are you from?” He continued to have a polite conversation while yelling at Rock: “Keep my wife’s name out of your mouth!” When the seat filler phone rings, its ringtone is “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It,” and Smith dances happily: “It’s all normal, you all!”
Carmichael also saved the slap in opening monologue: “Can you believe it’s been six days? … Doesn’t it feel like it happened years ago? Doesn’t it feel like it happened when we were all in high school? Like, it feels like it happened somewhere between Jamiroquai and 9/11.” Additionally, out in the open, Donald Trump spoke of James Austin Johnson about the slap as well, referring to Smith as a “hitch”: “I saw the slap. I enjoyed the slap. I was very impressed with my butt.”

Then Smith, returning to his seat, shouted from the audience, “Keep my wife’s name out of your mouth” and repeated it after Rock protested that the drilling was a joke.
