After the autopsy results, Deputy National Police spokesperson Kisana Vathancharoen said the death was of natural causes and that the family accepted the results, Reuters reported.
“The investigators will summarize the outcome of the autopsy for the prosecutors in the time frame of the law,” Kisana added.
Warren’s body will now be taken to Australian consular officials in preparation for return to his family, who first spoke on Monday about their “endless nightmare” in the days following the cricket icon’s death.
“We hope that our mountain of happy memories will help all of us get through our ongoing grief.”
“The best father anyone could ask for”
Warren is survived by his three sons – daughters Brooke and Summer, and son Jackson – who all paid their individual homage to their father, published by several outlets.
Brooke, 24, said, “We were so similar in so many ways, and I’ve always been joking because I got your genes and how annoying it is to me!”
“Well now I couldn’t be happier and prouder that I have your genes. I’m lucky and I’ll forever be proud to call you my dad forever. I love you endlessly and back and I’ll miss you forever.”
Summer and Jackson pondered “the best dad anyone could ever ask for.”
“Sitting at the poker table, wandering the golf course, watching saints and eating pizza, it’s never going to be the same,” Jackson added.
“But I know that all you wanted for me was to be happy, no matter what. I just wanted to be happy, that’s it.
“That’s what I would do, try to be happy. I will miss you so much Dad, and you were truly the best father and companion anyone could ask for.”
Melbourne will be renamed in honor of Warren
“I can think of no more honoring the greatest cricketer this state has produced than renaming the grandstand,” Bakula said.
“No matter what happens to this pavilion in the future whether it is rebuilt, renovated or refurbished, it will remain the SK Warne platform forever because its legend will live on forever.”
While discussing the renaming of the Coliseum, former Australian captain Ricky Bunting paid an emotional tribute to his longtime friend and teammate.
“Because he knew and touched so many people, you can understand that the flow of feelings began between us [former teammates].
“Like most people, I was trying to stay away from them [messages] A bit because I find it difficult to phone some of the boys. It’s a very difficult time.”
