Sunday’s game between the Bills and Dolphins had more than a few unique storylines. One appeared when the camera in the whole team’s training booth showed offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey blowing a mattress right after the match.

Dorsey was seen He throws on his headset, takes off his hat, repeatedly picks up his notebooks and papers and pounces on them – until someone’s hand covers the lens.

The video was widely viewed in all corners of social media, from the raw footage to a variety of memes. Coach Shawn McDermott and Dorsey discussed the situation with reporters on Monday.

“Kane and I talked about it,” McDermott told reporters via WROC-TV’s Thad Brown. “I think it is something where We have to keep our balance. I love the fact that he cares so much. I think that says a lot about him as a coach. Having said that, it is important that we as leaders maintain our poise.”

It was an intense matchDorsey said, via Kimberly Martin of ESPN.com. “I am watching my guys give it all they have in them. . . . was the playoff atmosphere. . . . I reacted in this way, and that is definitely something I will learn from and make sure to correct going forward.”

Before the season started, the team’s official website described Dorsey as “Ultra competitive“Nature temperament.

“He is a brilliant football coach, but he is very competitive,” in the middle Mitch Morse He was quoted as saying in the article. “The best way to describe it is that the Holy Spirit can come out of it and you don’t know when it will come out. You don’t want to be on the other end of that because it can be tough.”

The spirit that came out of Dorsey on Sunday seemed more demonic than a heavenly spirit, and it would be interesting to see if it lasted. And whether the bills and/or the league will allow the various networks to broadcast live footage of Dorsey suffering another meltdown.

With the Bills failing to extend their dominance early in the season despite having significant advantages in all relevant statistical categories against the Dolphins, it is understandable that Dorsey and others will be disappointed. And that underscores the intense pressure on the entire organization to meet the high expectations of a team that has never won a Super Bowl and hasn’t been around for 29 years.

Consider this, when it comes to putting pressure on McDermott and Dorsey to figure out how to win close matches. Including the playoffs, the Bills since the start of last season are 0-7 in single-score games. In all other competitions, the ratio is 14-1.
