When he keeps it real it goes right
I usually don’t like when WWE goes with his stories. Not because I think it’s a terrible move but because some wrestlers just can’t do it the way they think it is. The emotion is not there, the truth is not as convincing as they think, and it just feels temporary.
Then there is the New Day and Usos. These four brothers know what they’re doing. Most importantly, they connect the audience with everything because most of us know the story behind both teams. We know every turn and role in their rivalry, and we know how competitive the two teams are on screen and behind the scenes. So when does Xavier Woods compare the pressure he and Kofi felt versus the pressure Jimmy & Jey felt? This is real.
Usos has taken a smooth path to WWE. Their judgment was practically oriented. Xavier, Kofi, and Big E were just afterthoughts. Xavier talked about waiting for them to be served without knowing if every day was their last. And we all know that! WWE didn’t know what to do with them, so they joined forces. And then, as Coffey pointed out, WWE burdened them with a positive ruse of preachers designed to die. However, they made it work. Even when no one thought they could.
The Usos certainly have their own pressures. Being great when everyone expects greatness from you is not easy. Especially when your whole family is grappling with a legacy. Jimmy and J had no other choice. Either he’s over accomplished or he’s back home. Although this story was not as heavily influenced as the tale of the new day, it is still a good point. But that’s also why maintaining this position as the longest-running champion in WWE history means so much more to them. Everything with them was just an accident. Everything with Jimmy & Jey was preset.
The emergence of the puzzle ruined the part for me. It’s not that I don’t like him, but he undermined the very real drama with Bong’s jokes and strong personality. This moment between two big WWE tag teams was a place or a time for that. Yes, it made for a lively six-man match, but the lyrics, drama, and context contained more entertainment than the match itself. This does not underestimate the match but rather shows how good the four men are on the mic.

Equalizer
Neither Denzel nor Queen Latifah is in command. The OC’s solution to the Rhea problem is Mia Yim. Judgment Day answered Seth Rollins’ US Open Challenge, with Finn saying he owed Seth for that injury that came back when he cut Finn’s World Championship too short. The California Boys hit the ring, Seth rushed in, and Mia Rea jumped.
Do. this is. in. war. Toys.
Speaking of war…
CNTRL damage once again went through harshly on Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka. This time with Nikki Cross as an added bonus. Bianca says this ends at Survivor Series War Games buuuuuut… they need a fourth. No way the three of them beat the four women. The piece is functional in that it has erected the inevitable.
Poke a finger of gloom
As usual, a warrior gives some gems to Austen’s theory. As usual, the theory says “nah” and he starts fighting because he’s disrespectful. This time, Shelton insulted Benjamin, who took: after Austin stabbed him in the eye and then hit A Town Down.
A quick match that didn’t do much for me but also? The story with those vets willingly giving Theory some knowledge and telling them to push it is getting old. As if the story needed another tool…
But wait…
Remember that other equipment you mentioned? We got it. Apparently it shifted from fifth gear to park.
Seth re-released the open challenge during rawThe main event. He climbed on me only to be trampled on by Bobby Lashley. Lashley sought revenge on Seth, and before the match could begin, he grabbed a pound of meat and then some of it. The bell never rang because Lashley decimated Rollins. It was a complete mess and WWE officials took him out of the ring and tended to Rollins.
But then Austin’s theory hit the ring, bagged it, and took advantage of his chance… for the same title he already had. amazing. They mocked him by pursuing the Reigns nickname, which made everyone laugh. Then they teased him to win the NXT Championship and it never came to pass. So instead, the theory made the largest lateral movement of all lateral movements. This says nothing about Theory’s wrestling ability but as a character, he’s a real crash test dummy.
The game is lost! I used a lot of laughing emoji in Cageside rail because it’s so funny. Yes, he got close to W but Bobby ran out and made sure that didn’t happen. But before that, Rollins was fired from whatever Theory threw. That’s Rollins who just took a hell of a punch from Lashley and hardly knew the right year much less than the day of the week. And no matter what the theory threw at him, which included descent, Seth survived.
Lashley snatched Theory from the ring after the latter hit Seth with an A-Town Down, then dumped him at Hurt Lock. Theory barely beat the number 10 after Lashley left him unconscious for a brief period and then got a berth due to his troubles.
Seth rules and drooling theory. This is a stupid, stupid guy and this whole thing with theory had nowhere to go once the old man “retired”.
Weird corner ending and weirder ending for raw.
amazing
That’s how I feel about The Miz vs. Johnny Gargano. The two wrestled in a technically sound match and they clearly work well together in the ring. But I don’t care about the drama, which is necessary to take care of the match. The Miz thinks he met a Hollywood agent interested in buying his side of the story between him and Dexter Loomis. Johnny revealed it was all a rant, and the agent was actually a private eye working on Johnny’s behalf.
Johnny revealed that “The Agent” recorded the encounter with The Miz and Johnny played it for all of us. The Miz admitted that everything Johnny said about his relationship with Blomes was true. duh. We already knew that.
The Miz won the tough match thanks to hitting Johnny with a foreign object. Loomis appeared, hit Miz with the chair, and then fled security. We just get to the same story over and over again even after apparently getting some accuracy. I’m not with him now because it seems to be working in place.
New… Champion?
Nikki Cross is the new 24/7 champion after her solid win over Dana Brooke. But she does not care. The new hero walked around the backstage area with CNTRL damage beside her and threw the trash into the trash. Well, I tried to do that anyway. She missed it. But I don’t think she noticed that either. She was in a strange trance while CNTRL damage looked like hostage negotiators trying not to say or do the wrong thing.
Is this the end of the 24/7 tournament? I think so.
rawThe editorial crashed into her outside the park. The show never reached that height again and nothing else felt meaningful or personal. In Claire’s words, this was one of those weeks when I felt like three o’clock was totally unnecessary. Except for the ending, which was so brutally chaotic that one couldn’t help but love it.
We got an Elias vs Otis match which did nothing for me, despite how much I love both men.
