Ozzy Albis to leave the Braves game on Monday with a broken left foot

“I hate it for Ozzy, hate it on us,” Snicker said. It’s a pity. But it’s one of those things. He’s going to be fine. He’s young, he’ll heal quickly. Like I said, I hate it on a kid, because he loves to play baseball. He’s a big part of our club here. It’s just a chance for someone Another to do a good thing.”

At the bottom of the fifth inning, Orlando Archia replaced Albis at second base. Arcia is the only reserve player in the Braves’ 26-player roster. Maybe the Braves need to add another player to cover themselves.

Kramer Robertson, who recently called for the Braves to waive waivers, is on the 40-man roster and could play second base.

The Braves have quite a few options in Triple A. None of them are on the 40-man list.

Shortstop Braden Shewmake is the club’s 5th potential player in MLB Pipeline. Phil Gosselin, Pat Valaika, and Ryan Goins are all veterans who could fill their spot right now. Joe Dunand is another name to watch.

Of course, head of baseball operations Alex Anthopoulos could go outside the organization. Last season, he did so to help strengthen the team’s stadium.

The Braves won 12 in a row. They intend to keep rolling, even if it stings to lose the Albies.

“It definitely hurts, but we have to go out and keep doing what we’re doing, and go out and win for him and for ourselves,” Harris said.

Alpes showed his strength early in the season as he hit five runs in one week in April. He returned in three consecutive games in this stretch.

However, it has posted 583 OPS from April 27 through the end of May. This season, he saw a streak of 40 games without a home, which was the longest duration of his career.

Still, the brave need it. It is a nail on both sides of the chalk.

They simply hope he recovers and returns as soon as possible.
