The National Football League now has its own streaming service.
Premiering Monday, NFL launches NFL+ for $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year.
The subscription will include all pre-season games out of the market, which were previously only available with a subscription to the NFL Game Pass for $99.99 per year. The NFL pre-season begins August 4 with the Jacksonville Jaguars facing the Las Vegas Raiders. Since this will be a nationally televised game, it will not be shown on NFL+.
NFL+ will also include direct mobile access to the local regular season, prime-time and post-season games, It was previously available for free on the Yahoo Sports app.
NFL+ marks the first time the NFL has run its own streaming service, giving the league a new futuristic platform to showcase potentially exclusive games..
