The story follows Stephen Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee, who suffers from blackouts and other life memories. Stephen discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares the body with mercenary Mark Spector. As Stephen/Mark’s enemies converge on them, they must navigate their complex identities while being pushed into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
