Netflix had some serious issues with the live-action of the reunion episode, “Love is Blind.” We always knew the live broadcast would be messy, as reunions on reality shows always are — but after a 75-minute delay, it looks like Netflix has pulled the live show, according to notes from host Vanessa Lachey.

“We’re sorry we’re late. We’re not live anymore, but now we’re finally here!” Lachey said when the show finally started.

According to Down Detector, more than 10,000 users reported errors accessing Netflix around 8pm ET, which is the time the reunion was scheduled to air. Netflix did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but the live stream itself displayed an error message, announcing: “There is a problem with the live stream. Hold on tight! We are trying to fix it ASAP.”

At first, Netflix chirp To tell users that the broadcast will be delayed by fifteen minutes. But the issues were not resolved so quickly.

It’s an inauspicious start to the streaming network’s foray into live entertainment. The “Love is Blind” reunion is Netflix’s second-ever livestream, which seems like a smart way to cement its reputation as a live-event destination — 30 million families Watch the first season of the show, according to Netflix’s internal viewing stats. But after tonight’s delay and cancellation, “Love Is Blind” fans may be left feeling as frustrated as Kwame when he realized he’d have to move to Seattle.

Naturally, fans have shared rude comments online…even Blockbuster, who appears to have a Twitter account.

Netflix’s Blockbuster tweeted, “Remember to rent vhs’ from us. You can start on time no problem…that’s what we get.”

As far as Netflix’s future streaming plans go, the streamer has snatched up the streaming rights to the Screen Actors Guild Awards, starting next year.
