It took Kamala Khan (Iman Velani) almost all 6 episodes to get her super suit, a Delicate comic look complete with nautical domino mask and red scarf. While the end result was already faithful to the comics, some other iterations were taken during the development phase visually. On Tuesday, Marvel Concept artist Karla Ortiz shared two possible character forms, each of which deviated slightly from the final look first introduced in the series.
One look introduces black accents to Kamala’s leggings, making it comparable to the best pictures of Simu Liu’s Shang Chi he wore in his singles. This same concept also features a more elegant dress than we saw in the final cut. The other concept shares different shoes for the character, with a more traditional look on the dress. In addition to the costume, the finale of Mrs. Marvel also happened to make the teenage mutant hero.
