Lifestyle mogul Martha Stewart is making history, becoming the oldest person to live Sports Illustrated‘s Annual Swimsuit Issue, at 81.

“I am so happy to be on the cover of SI_Swimsuit,” she said in an Instagram post. “My motto has always been: ‘When you’re through change, you’re done,’ so I thought, Why not be ready for this opportunity of a lifetime? I hope this cover inspires you to challenge yourself to try new things, no matter what stage of life you’re in.”
Stewart left her modeling career and then stockbroking to open her own catering business, where she developed her own recipes. That would be the basis of her first book, entertaining, which was published in 1982. Her journal, Martha Stewart Livingwas launched in the year 1990.
She has since written 98 more lifestyle books, has her own talk show and radio show and has product lines that include cookware, curtains and furniture.
It is one of the four of 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimwear Cover Stars. Others include singer Kim Petras, actress Megan Fox and model Brooks Nader.
