Jane Fonda gushed about meeting NFL legend Tom Brady on the set of their upcoming movie, 80 for Brady.

Fonda described becoming a star upon meeting Brady, 45, during the movie’s premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Friday night.
“Tom Brady, I think he went into all of our trailers individually,” she recalled during a Q&A, according to Variety. “And when he finally got into the trailer, my knees gave out.”

In the movie, Fonda, Moreno, Field, and Tomlin play four close friends, and Brady Superman who travel together to Houston, Texas to watch the New England Patriots take on the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 2017.
Super Bowl LI had the largest comeback in Super Bowl history after the Patriots overcame a 23-8 deficit to win the game. In addition to Brady, other Patriots players appeared in the film including former tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski, retired wide receiver Julian Edelman and former wide receiver Danny Amendola.
During the performance, Field told the audience that she was waiting to meet the sports stars before they arrived.
“I was the kind of welcome to everyone,” the 76-year-old actress recalled.
“There was no one else there. No PAs, just Sally,” Tomlin, 82, quipped.
Been there, Field continued, Hey guys! I am so glad you are here! ”

She added, “I wanted them to feel comfortable. I was a fan and I was there welcoming them.”
Fonda went on to praise Brady for his good manners, recalling, “Tom was so gracious when he first came to the set to buy lunch.”
The two-time Academy Award winner continued, “It was the first time he went into all of our trailers, which were our dressing rooms, and he presented himself as if we didn’t know who he was.”
“But then again, a real gentleman. He was generous. And I had one of these huge football jerseys waiting for him because my nephew is such a big fan, and he was so generous.” [Tom] I wrote on it, and my nephew now has it on the wall in a frame. [Tom] He just has very good manners like that. ”
Fonda also took a huge liking to Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback On the red carpet before the premiere. “He was so kind and down-to-earth, which is hard to believe considering how good he is at what he does, but it’s true. “He was nice and polite, too,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
The New York native added, “My knees really weakened when he walked into my trailer. I’m in awe of that kind of skill. When somebody’s the best in the world at what they do, you have to respect that and respect him. I was blown away.”
During her interview with THR, Tomlin complimented Brady on his acting skills. “He’s a good actor,” she told the outlet. “It’s very elegant and down-to-earth.”
She went on to describe Brady’s performance during a long scene they shared together in the movie.
On “Grace & Frankie,” the alum said, “Just looking into his face and his eyes and watching him listen to me like an actor trying to respond in the same way. I felt like I [real-life] A Boston woman who was in her eighties. I felt, in fact, as if he was my son when I had to give this speech to him.”
Based on a true story, 80 For Brady follows four friends who set their sights on seeing Brady play in the Super Bowl against the Atlanta Falcons.

“He’s clearly an artist,” Field told THR. “He knows where to put whatever kind of adrenaline he has and he knows how to ride it over the top. He’s an amazing once-in-a-lifetime athlete and that’s really tough.
“Just the fact that I was there, I mean, I was a fan and watched him play – who hasn’t? He’s really amazing, not just for his physical skills but his mental skills. He’s a chess player who’s right there.” [on the field]. “

Last summer, Brady told THR that he was so impressed while watching the veteran actresses perform.
