Then Prabsmaran and Sam Curran (20) steadied the ship with a partnership of 72 runs off 54 balls.

Ishant Sharma was out front as he recovered from his first six ball to take out Shekhar Dhawan (7) in the next over with Reilly Rosso taking the ball in deep square leg.

After two runs from the nine overs, Ishant returned to destroy the stumps of Liam Livingston (4), who paid the price of dancing the pitch after being away from the strike for some time with Prabhsimran producing three boundaries.

Prabhsimran looked to be in good shape when he served Axar Patel for a six with a counter putt but after two balls the left spinner cleaned Jitesh Sharma (5) who appeared to be playing an overhand shot.

Kuldeep Yadav (1/32) and Praveen Dubey (1/19) kept it tight but Prabhsimran picked up the single bounds and rotated the putt to keep things moving for his team.

Momentum shifted radically after the eleventh when Prabhsimran blasted consecutive sixes and then fours off Mitchell Marsh, milking him for 21 runs.

He completed 50 of his 42 balls in the 13th minute before hitting Kuldeep Yadav and Dubey into the stands for the two-ball maximum.

Curran tried to join the party but could not clear the ropes as Dobby picked up a wicket. However, there was no stopping Prabhsimran as he smoked Kuldeep for a six on a deep square leg just four to two centimeters closer to his horn.

He achieved the feat with straight wickets from Khalil, and reached the three-figure mark in 61 balls.

Prabhsimran was finally dismissed when he was looking for a scooping shot. He ended up being bowled by Mukesh Kumar.
