Horizon Zero Dawn Remake / Remaster in the Works for PS5; Horizon multiplayer in development

While we just got a remake of The Last of Us, it looks like PlayStation may not be quite done with the remakes just yet, as a source close to the situation who wishes to remain anonymous has revealed that a new Horizon Zero Dawn remake is in the works. PS5!

If you thought The Last of Us Part 1 players were split over whether or not the game needs a remake, brace yourselves as it was revealed to us that PlayStation is remake or remake (details are still unclear) It is only five years old and the second part was released earlier this year.

Our source didn’t say if this was a new style “built from the ground up” or not, but we were told that the new version features an improved lighting system (perimeter blockage, and the like), and an overhauled texture. And better animations, with new character models to match those in the sequel, Horizon Forbidden West.

To get a better understanding of how the second part of the first graph has improved, here’s a comparison we made earlier this year – Horizon Forbidden West: A look at how the Decima engine has evolved graphically

Outside of that, we were told there was a lot of focus on providing the accessibility options that the sequel offered. Various graphic modes will also be available, although this is a given since most PS5 games have the performance, quality, and performance not set to take advantage of VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). For the gameplay changes itself, there are some subtle improvements, mostly the quality of life improvements that the sequel has brought about. Whether or not we’ll see foldable mounts or a glider has not been confirmed, although we assume their related story is unlikely to be given prominence in the sequel.

While Horizon Zero Dawn has seen a performance patch released for the PS4 that allowed the PS5 to run at an unlocked but steady 60fps at 2160p, the title has yet to receive a PS5 port that takes advantage of hardware, like in addition to DualSense features.

However, a PC port was released, which introduced some PC-specific improvements such as drawing distance, higher frame rates, widescreen support, and more. However, despite these improvements, the PC version was still just a port of the original, which means graphically, the textures and character models remained the same for most parts.

From our understanding that a remake/remake of Horizon Zero Dawn would bring him closer to the Forbidden West, through enhanced textures, drew a distance. Character models, even new and improved animations, and much more. Whether it was on a scale like The Last of Us Part 1 Remake, is unknown at this time.

For newcomers to the franchise, this version/remaster may be the perfect way to get into the series, although it’s arguably a tough sell for current owners. Horizon Zero Dawn is not an old game from the start, as it was released only five years ago. Understandably, this news might be a little disappointing for some, but we have some good news if you want something to look forward to the series outside of the upcoming VR game and rumors Banned West DLC.

As it turns out, Zero Dawn Remake/Remaster isn’t the only Horizon-related project in the works, as we’ve also learned from other sources (information collaborated with our original source) that a team (presumably Guerrilla Games) at PlayStation is currently developing the multiplayer online game Horizon. For both PS5 and PC.

Two sources have verified that the project is indeed real, while a third source has provided some brief details that may include some form of collaboration. Customization is said about the different tribes established in the Horizon franchise, however, we haven’t been able to verify this, nor the details on whether or not the internet will offer any kind of collaboration or PvP.

When is it expected to be announced? That’s anyone’s guess, although a well-known leaker Dusk Golem mentioned a month later Reset That one of Sony’s PS4-era games will get a PS5 version in the form of a “face-lift,” believing it wasn’t far from announcing it. Could Horizon Zero Dawn be the title they were referring to?

If there are any new developments regarding either project, we will make sure to keep you updated.
