We shared a few more details about the Pixel Tablet earlier this week, but the one piece that hasn’t come out yet is pricing. With Google I/O 2023 approaching, leaks are starting to come out.
On Monday, we reported that the Pixel tablet will have 8GB of RAM and come in two storage options. WinFuture’s Roland Quandt Tweet now that these sizes are 128GB and 256GB. This matches Pixel phones and is a higher base of Apple’s non-Pro iPad lineup.
We expect the Pixel Tablet to be available in up to four colors depending on the country. Google has already shown green with a black frame and beige with a white frame. The latter could be “Porcelain,” while the former is likely to be Hazel, if the Charging Speaker Dock this morning is anything to go by.
Finally, Quandt says today that the price of the Pixel tablet is “something like 600-650€”, which would be ~$657~$711.
For comparison, the Pixel 7 costs €649 in Europe and retails for $599. An early Amazon listing, which has since been removed, suggested the Charging Speaker Dock cost $129, so factor that bundle into the price.
For comparison, a 128GB (2560 x 1600) Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with an 11-inch display, 8GB of RAM, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and an S Pen. is $699.
