Sorensen, 32, signed with The Chiefs as an unformed free agent to exit BYU Back in 2014. In eight seasons with the club (2014-21), Sorensen made 111 appearances (39 starts), collected 407 tackles (314 singles), including 19 for losses. He scored 33 defensive passes, including 12 interceptions and 4 touchdowns. He forced four flops and recovered four times. In addition to his time on defense, he held a role on special teams each year that would match the Chiefs.
