European authorities are concerned about the circulation of a new and dangerous drug: nitacenes. According to reports this Wednesday, the substance has killed more than 200 people in Europe and the United States since it was first detected on the streets in 2019. La Voz de Galicia.

Known as Frankenstein's drug, nightshades are a class of synthetic opioids that include more than 20 different compounds. Its effects are similar to those of morphine, oxycodone, heroin, and fentanyl, but their potency is much higher. According to laboratory tests, nitsens are hundreds of thousands of times more potent than morphine and 40 times more potent than fentanyl.
Frankenstein can be taken in pill, powder, or liquid form and mixed with other substances such as heroin, benzodiazepines, or fentanyl.
