France supplies anti-tank weapons and missiles to Ukrainian forces – Sport

Macron stressed that France was already supplying “critical equipment” and that he did not provide numbers or other details, citing Caesar’s self – propelled grenades and Milan anti – tank missiles and other types of weapons.

“I think we have to continue on this path. With the red line that we should not always become fighters,” he added.

The Caesar system is equipped with an all-terrain vehicle with 155 mm artillery capable of hitting a target at a distance of 40 km.

France used the equipment in Afghanistan, Iraq and Sahel and exported it to seven countries.

According to French sources, quoted by Ouest France, a dozen of these systems will be sent from its military to Ukraine, which will allow it to accelerate the modernization of artillery in that country.

On March 9, Le Monde announced that France had given up “dozens” of anti-Milan anti-tank missiles developed by the French and German military industries between February 28 and March 3.
