The conveyor belts haven’t even finished getting the components to the right hand, and we’re already talking about what to expect from Apple’s iPhone 15. Rumors started circulating right after the launch of the iPhone 14/14 Pro, and it just so happened. It has become higher and more stable in recent months.

What’s next for the iPhone? A little more, but with a new charging standard. The iPhone 14/14 Pro was a solid release, so it is likely that Apple will improve what works with the current flagship. It’s possible that the camera system and processor made by Apple will get the nutrition from the inside of the phone. It’s also likely that the Dynamic Island will remain, though the buttons on the iPhone 15 may be different than what you’re used to. Oh, and start putting your Lightning cables in your personal museum; If you decide to upgrade later this year, you’re swapping it in for USB-C cords: Apple-approved cords.

iPhone 15 will come in four models

We’re still to determine when exactly the new iPhone family will debut or if any of the leaks doing the rounds have been confirmed. But according to bloombergThere will be at least four models to choose from. To sell a new “Ultra” moniker for its top model, Apple may do things a little differently this year with each model’s rating. The 6.1-inch iPhone 15 is supposed to also come in a 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus version, while the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch Pro Ultra version. The Ultra is supposed to come packed with premium upgrades, like a titanium-coated chassis Apple Watch Ultra.

Although Apple does not usually share memory configurations, there may be a difference in RAM between the four models. In a recent report, Taiwanese supply chain research firm, TrendForce, Claims That Apple has raised the RAM ranking on iPhone 15 Pro. Apple can increase the RAM from 6GB to 8GB on the Pro/Ultra model. The iPhone 15/15 Plus will likely still come with 6GB.

What will the iPhone 15 look like?

We expect more of the same. The design language that Apple has set out over the past few generations has remained mostly unchanged. And there certainly won’t be a notch: each iPhone 15 model is expected to have a coil Dynamic IslandWhich is believable given that Apple has already caught on to this part of the design on the high-end iPhone 14s. At the very least, it will put all those few Dynamic Island Applications And the capabilities available to good use.

iPhone 15 may have Solid state buttons on the side rather than the mechanical ones. Each button acts as a small trackpad, much like the current Home button iPhone SE. The iPhone 15 can use Taptic Engines that provide haptic feedback when you touch the power and volume buttons. It will also help Apple market the iPhone 15 as more durable than its predecessors.

iPhone 15 will have USB-C

Everyone talks about it: iPhone 15 will have USB-C. Apple is following EU law, which says the company needs to adopt USB-C on its iPhone line by 2024. Multiple leaks since the October ruling have suggested this is inevitable.

Of course, this status has it Judicial alert. We’ve also heard that Apple would encourage USB-C cables to go through the MFi program, which was originally named that way to indicate that the accessories were “Made for iPod.” This doesn’t mean you won’t be able to share USB-C cables with your Android-loving friends and family, but there will likely be a limit to charging and data transfer speeds on non-MFi cables because of this certification program.

Special colors for iPhone 15

Let’s talk about colors. 9to5Mac It has the lead on the iPhone 15 color palette — you can check out the color swatches offered at the link. Apple could be planning a darker red option for the iPhone 15 Pro/Ultra to join the iPhone 14 Pro Max which is dark purple. It may also switch to ultra pastel colors and adopt blue and pink variants, unlike the iPhone 14’s blue version.

A 9to5Mac source warned that these particular colors could change when the iPhone 15 goes into full manufacturing mode. But it’s easy to see the pattern based on the color renderings of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series.

Periscope camera for iPhone 15

Do you want to take better pictures even though your hand is shaky? The iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra?) may help by adding a periscope-style rear camera, according to a Mac rumors. This rumor has been quiet since last summer, when leaker Ming-Chi Kuo noticed it books About the possibility of periscope lens access to the largest variants of the iPhone 15, with the smaller lenses with a normal zoom lens for optical zoom.

The Periscope camera system is more forgiving of physical movement, though it also lets you zoom in further, resulting in less “digital noise” in the final product. Samsung’s Galaxy S22 / S23 Ultra has similar hardware in its 10MP triple camera lens with 10x zoom to help it stabilize distant shots.

The Apple A17 Bionic chip is next, right?

We expect Apple to give us the A17 Bionic in the iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Ultra / Pro Max (seriously, I don’t know what to call it). But instead of focusing on maximizing performance — the A16 Bionic still performs better in synthetic benchmarks than the latest Android chips — Apple should probably fine-tune battery life and power efficiency.

The iPhone 15 Pro processor could be Apple’s first 3nm processor bloomberg She stated that she headed into production right after Christmas last year. If that turns out to be accurate, it means Apple will beat Android chip makers with a 3-nanometer power.
