Certified Fan tickets officially go on sale Tuesday, May 2 at 10 a.m

Ed Sheeran enters Manhattan Federal Courthouse, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in New York.

Monday’s jury selection kicked off a trial that mashed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” with Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.”

The heirs of Ed Townsend, Gaye’s co-writer of the 1973 soul classic, have sued Sheeran, alleging that the English pop star’s tune to his 2014 hit has “startling similarities” to “Let’s Get It On” and Publicly Shared Items that infringe their copyrights.

Sheeran testified Thursday in a packed New York courtroom, even strumming his guitar at his attorney’s request.

A new four-part documentary, “Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All,” will begin streaming on Disney+ starting May 3.

Sheeran’s new album “-” will be released on May 5.
