The National Weather Service has already warned travelers to make alternate plans as the conditions disrupt travel plans during the busiest time of year.
From the White House, US President Joe Biden has warned anyone planning to travel to visit family and friends to do so immediately. “If you have plans to travel, do it now, it’s not a joke. I told my team that if you plan to go tomorrow, do it now,” the President said.
The White House has already spoken with the 26 governors of the affected states and Joe Biden indicated that “this is not another snow day, this is something very serious.”
