Aziz Ansari’s Good Luck stars Seth Rogen and Keanu Reeves – The Hollywood Reporter

Aziz Ansari is gearing up for a new feature film, with Seth Rogen and Keanu Reeves co-starring.

Ansari will write and direct good fortune, in which he will star alongside Rogen and Reeves. Lionsgate is behind the comedy, which will begin filming next month in Los Angeles, with plot details being kept under wraps.

Anthony Catagas (Armageddon Time, Amsterdam), Alan Yang (Loot, master of nothing), and Ansari will produce. Brady Fujikawa and John Humphrey will supervise the studio.

Motion Pictures Group president Joe Drake said, “We’ve really found good fortune with this film. We love the script and have great faith in Aziz as a performer and director. And when you add in Seth and Keanu – two incredible, world-class talents – stepping up alongside Aziz, it’s likely that This is going to be a very special film for us. We moved quickly to get to grips with this project as soon as it became available.”

Represented by WME, Sugar23 and Ziffren Brittenham, Reeves is one of Liosngate’s top talents, and has starred in The Studio John Wick franchise. The fourth installment was released recently and has currently grossed $350 million at the global box office. He will next reprise his role as John Wick in Lionsgate ballet dancerStarring Ana de Armas.

Rogen’s Point Gray Banner is based in Lionsgate, where the studio is releasing its soon-to-be R-rate comedy Joy Ride. On screen, Rogen is currently in theaters with Super Mario Bros. Animated feature, she voices Donkey Kong, and was made for the GameStop stock drama stupid money. It is represented by UTA, Principal Entertainment LA and Felker Toczek.
