Andy Cohen apologize to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcel Buffet distance I did well The host received a backlash from viewers.

During the second part of RHOBH Reuniting, Lisa Rinna admitted that it was she who threw Buffett’s autobiography in the trash and not Erica Jane who shared the moment on Instagram.

While talking about the situation at the reunion, Cohen avoided Beauvais’ feelings about her trashy diary and instead highlighted it by asking Rinna about her recycling habits. Fans of the reality show have taken to social media to call out Cohen and now he’s admitting his mistake.

“Everyone was talking about a Beverly Hills reunion,” Cohen said on the October 24 episode of his show SiriusXM. Andy Cohen Live. “And I just want to say, I’ve been listening to everyone’s opinions about the reunion, and I really need to sincerely apologize, not just for turning the topic but for not getting back to the serious conversation that was at hand.”

Cohen added that he had a “deep admiration for Garcelle” and that they both had a “really good and productive conversation” after the episode aired last week.

“I should have been more in tune with her feelings. I just wanted to say that because I was logging in [to social media] And I understand that,” he admitted.

In the RHOBH Reuniting, Rinna said she threw the book in the trash because the prequel had a moment in which Beauvais recalled her daughter Amelia Hamlin’s eating disorder. Then, Rinna took a picture of the book in the trash and shared it in a group chat with some of her RHOBH costars. When Jayne teased Beauvais to promote her book using a line from the season 13 trailer, Jayne responded by posting the photo Rinna had taken to her Instagram.

Beauvais mentions Rinna’s daughter in the book but maintains that she didn’t say anything that wasn’t already discussed in an earlier season of RHOBH. To calm the situation, Beauvais decided to take out this part of her memoirs and publish a second edition without it.
