Two men, one of whom was wearing a balaclava, left a bar in the city Just from, in the east of the Netherlands, where they had held many hostages since dawn. Both came out with their hands in the air. Police handcuffed one of them.
Early in the morning, all the hostages were released, Reuters writes. Police evacuated 150 houses in the area around the scene of the attack, officials said.
Several special units were dispatched to the spot and police asked residents not to approach the area.
