Kourtney Kardashian says the sisters were ‘fighting her over ‘KUWTK’

Kourtney Kardashian said that after she began setting boundaries between her personal life and what appeared on screen in “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” her sisters Khloe and Kim “started making an alliance with her.”

She revealed that filming the original series – colloquially referred to as “KUWTK” – was affecting her “happiness,” particularly in the ways she felt she needed to share information.

She tells Bustle that her sisters are putting pressure on her to cancel some of these limits.

“When they started harassing me, I was like, ‘Oh my God, that feels awful,'” Kourtney told Bustle. According to Bustle, Kim at one point showed Kourtney a “market research” showing that viewers wanted to see more of her in the series.

“KUWTK” was a popular candid show that delved into the chaotic life of the family, and tackled topics such as Lamar Odom, Chloe’s ex-husband, He is hospitalized after a near-fatal overdoseor Scott Disick, father of Kourtney’s three sons, I’m going to rehab.

Kourtney told Bustle that by the end of the show, it had become a “toxic environment” where she felt she was “almost a character” known for her bad moods and dry comments. She also said that after she started therapy, she began to set boundaries between her personal life and the series, which led to disagreements with the family.

However, Kourtney said the breakup between “KUWTK” and the family’s upcoming Hulu series allowed her and her sisters to reevaluate their relationships and realize that they “actually love each other.”
