Reuters reported that Israel bombed Dahiyeh, a suburb south of Beirut. The attack came an hour after the IDF warned residents of some suburbs south of Beirut to leave the areas, via social network X, IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee told Arab media.
According to Reuters, an Israeli attack on the Nusirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip killed 11 people.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah has already said it is monitoring Israeli troop movements in border towns. In a statement on Telegram, Hezbollah explained that, according to a Lebanese government agency, the IDF, along with Deir Syrian and Kiyam, is considering moving into the city of Kaffar Gila, where it has already carried out a raid.
From the United Kingdom, the Foreign Secretary has already told British citizens registered in Lebanon that there will be an evacuation flight on Wednesday, departing from Birmingham.
“We have been informed that they are currently conducting what they say are limited operations against Hezbollah infrastructure near the border,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters.
“We are talking to them about these activities, but the calendar, objective, pace of these activities (…) let them talk,” he said. The spokesman declined to provide details of the conversations, leaving it to Israel to talk about “military operations”.
According to Reuters, Lebanese troops have retreated at least five kilometers along Lebanon’s southern border with Israel.
