UA five-year-old girl who went missing in Valencia, Spain has been found in France. On leaving the school, the child would have been picked up by the mother’s relatives at Tavern’s Blanks.
The Guardia Civil indicated the girl was in France, where she would be with her maternal family.
The girl’s father reported her missing on Friday.
According to ABC.es, the girl was at the children’s center with her father and paternal grandfather when they were approached by two men who, following an argument, took the child in a car and fled.
As part of the separation agreement, the child is prohibited from leaving Spain, so border controls have been implemented.
The victim is the result of a relationship that ended a few years ago, during which time the father and mother have a tense and conflicted relationship as the mother wants to take her daughter to France where she lives.
The Spanish press writes that it will be in the hands of the judicial authority to determine the appropriate measures.
