Following a meeting of Russian and Chinese leaders in Moscow, US President Joe Biden questioned the state of cooperation between Russia and China.

“We expanded our alliance. Name one situation where China made a significant commitment to Russia. What can they compromise?”, Biden asked during a press conference in Ottawa with the Canadian prime minister.

The North American leader noted that the US is strengthening partnerships with NATO, the G7, North Korea and the Quad countries (India, Australia, Japan).

During the press conference, Biden also said that Beijing did not supply Russia with weapons for the war in Ukraine. “For the last three months I have been hearing that China is going to send significant arms to Russia. But they haven’t done it yet, doesn’t mean they won’t do it”, he explained.
