The Hoosiers were defensively defeated in the second half on Friday night to defeat Maryland 70-60 in the quarterfinals. Trace Jackson Davis (24 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists) and Galen Hood Scheffino (19 points) led IU.
Penn State beat Northwestern 67-65 in overtime as Seth Lundy had 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Jalen Pickett had 15 points and 9 rebounds.
The winner of this game plays Purdue in the championship game on Sunday.
