Jennifer Coolidge She gives a tearful speech accepting her SAG’s Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress Award for White Lotus, admitting a lie her honest father once told inspired her career.
JC collects more ACEs this year, and every time she wins she receives a memorable speech, and this was no exception.
The 61-year-old explained how her parents were being honest about something wrong… She was crying so hard, it was hard to tell where the story was going. But she explains that her father told a lie that has been proven to change her life.
It was simple… telling the headmistress she was sick when she wasn’t. Purpose… Her father wants Jane to experiment Charlie Chaplin Film Festival, and as she said, “I swear to God, I’m seeing Charlie Chaplin for the first time, and having this experience—it’s my love of film, it’s my love of actors, it all came from my first class.”
She definitely knows how to work the crowd.
