Warriors’ Draymond Green says he appreciates the fan commitment to the game well

Rahmatullah told ESPN Friday night that he did not agree to the fine because he “did not offend” Green’s language.

The incident occurred with 11:20 minutes remaining in the Warriors’ game against the Mavericks. Teams were lining up for a free throw attempt, Rahmatullah said, and he said he began to make fun of Green’s shoe.

According to Green, there were “a lot of roll calls”. Eventually, Green turned around and told the fans to “Sit down, shut up and watch the game.”

Green did not reach out to Rahmatullah on Friday but said he was planning to.

“The money has to go somewhere,” he said of God’s mercy suggestion to match the fine. “You must help someone’s child.”

Green also addressed the issue of fan fitness, which has been a big topic in the league the past few seasons. Arenas across the league have implemented bans on some fans who engage in inappropriate behavior, but the incidents continue.

“I’ve been around for a very long time,” Green said. “I don’t have much faith in anything that holds [fans] Responsible and transformative fitness for fans.”
