UA 600- to 800-year-old Hispanic mummy was found inside the bag of a food delivery courier in Puno, Peru on Saturday. According to his information to the authorities, the man wanted to show it to his friends.
According to the country’s culture ministry, the remains, which are considered national cultural property, have been identified as those of a man over 45 years old, 1.51 meters tall and from Puno, according to the EFE agency.
The discovery was made during a patrol operation in which officers found three men in possession of alcoholic beverages in Puno View. One of them had a food delivery backpack from ‘Peditos Ya’ where he kept the leftovers in the womb.
The courier assured officials that the mummy was usually at her parents’ house and took it there to show it to friends.
